Why are
education is so important?
Everything
starts from the basic, and if you want to be a great person, a leader, or
anything else, you must have the basic, and yes, its called Education.
Education is a promise to have a better future. If you don’t have education, I
don’t know what you will be in the future. Maybe, there’s a miracle and bam!
You’ll be the president. But, like I said before, you MUST have the basic.
Without the basic, you can’t go to anywhere, you can’t go to the top of
something.
Education
means learning and teaching skills. It’s the key to success. Success can be
achieved when you have knowledge, skills, and attitude. Where do we can find
education? That’s a place called School, you can find it there.
I know,
sometimes we don’t want to go to school because we are tired, tired of the
tasks, homeworks, friends, or subjects, we are tired of getting ready in the
morning. But, don’t ever hate your own school, it’s a place to learn and grow.
You don’t want to have a brighter future? Fine, don’t go to school. Simple
right?
We need
education for our own life, its not for someone, but its for ourselves. its
important for all of us to be smarter. Education is the only thing that helps
us to make sure what is wrong and what is right. Without education, we can’t do
what we want and we can’t reach our purpose.
Education is
not about the score you got in school, it’s more than that. We need education to survive today’s society.
As you can see, Education in my or our generation is not quite good. Like, when
I watch TV and see the news, you know what I see? So many of young girls got
raped, People who don’t have money forced to steal money or jewelry and many
more. And the fact is people who did that is someone who don’t have Education.
Education help
us to explore our own thoughts, ideas and mind and make it able to express it
in every forms. When we gain education, we get to know about things in this
whole world. If we have the right education, we can be a useful human being to
our society, to the world. Education opens our mind to many things.
In my
country, Indonesia, Education is like a MUST. We must to study in school for
like 9 years. But, as you all see, Education in here is a little bad. Not ‘bad’
in that way, but so many of us here in Indonesia didn’t have a good Education.
Most of kids, teenagers, even old people don’t have a chance to go to school
because they don’t have money. It’s so sad to see person who is my age forced
to work, while me and my friends study in Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 3
Bandung or 3 Senior High School. We are all deserve to have Education.
But I think,
there’s something more important than Education. It’s your attitude and Character.
Yes, Education is beyond important, but if you don’t have a good attitude and
character, it’s useless. “Knowledge is power, but Character is more” this is my
school motto, that’s what my school taught to all of their students. Surprisingly,
so many of governments or someone who clever or genius or someone who is
important proved the fact that if we have Education without a good Character,
it will not ending good.
So for me, Education
is like a media to share our ideas with different people from another school,
city, province, and country. Education means a lot to me, because if I didn’t
have that, I don’t know what will happen to me. That’s all from me. Thank you.
